Being an athlete, has taught me the art of management and discipline of time, effort and self. It has provided me with the essential toolsets needed to be the self-managing, self-aware and focused individual that I am today.

The FoundationAthletics has always stood at the core of everything that has made me unique. It describes my personality, it has developed me holistically, and it ultimately laid the foundation for my life's work, purpose, and dreams.
As a James Madison University "walk-on" athlete, I did not know at the time how that perseverance that earned me a spot on the team, would also earn me a destiny. |
Community Involvement
As a hybrid learner, I always had a strong desire to get involved in a variety of things that either interested me or served as a self-developmental tool. During my first year at JMU, I immediately sought out community service/involvement organizations. By my Senior year, I had served in four, spanning from mentorship, leadership and community service focused organizations.
Another defining moment and marker was achieved during the height of my athletic career as a Senior. I became a member of one of the largest service organizations in the world, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. through which I have been able to serve many communities and I continue to do so as an active member. |

Professional Experiences
My experiences highlight my mission to brighten the lives of others as a guiding resource through my commitment as a lifetime athlete, servant, and leader. Through the natural marriage of these three guiding principles in my unique programming, I have successfully impacted the development of students, athletes, and professionals.
